Possible Applications
Seanure Soilbuilder can be used in a variety of ways on the whole range of sports and amenity turf areas as:

• part of a preparation process prior to seeding or turfing
• a straight dressing to established grass areas
• a constituent of a balanced top dressing

3 WAYS TO USE SEANURE SOILBUILDER

1. Seanure Soilbuilder is equally valuable in clay soils as it improves deflocculation
   • Seanure Soilbuilder should be broadcast at an optimum of 70 grams/m² for every 50mm of soil depth and thoroughly worked into the soil prior to seeding or turfing
   • Seanure Soilbuilder is especially valuable in the case of pure sand construction as the natural moisture retention qualities of Seanure and its ability to aggregate soil particles into an effective crumb structure play an important part in establishment of healthy root systems
   • Seanure Soilbuilder is equally valuable in clay soils as it improves flocculation
     
     
2. As a simple dressing to already grassed areas
   • To allow Seanure Soilbuilder to penetrate into the soil it is essential that the area to be treated has been well spiked or hollow tined before Seanure Soilbuilder is spread
   • The application rate is 70 grams/m²
   • After spreading the material should be well brushed or matted into the holes to ensure its effectiveness in the root zone
   • For an even distribution we recommend using mechanical spreaders
   • Excessive over-application can lead to soil oxygen starvation which, in extreme cases, can burn and even kill the plant
     
     
3. In a top dressing
   • Seanure Soilbuilder should be mixed with the top dressing at the rate of 1.5 kg/m²
   • It should be applied in Spring or Autumn as part of the normal management programme

Please Note
In all the above cases it is recommended that the turf treated with Seanure Soilbuilder should be watered after application unless rain is imminent.
