Eurogreen Turf Renovation

Even the finest turf can have problems associated with drainage, compression and ventilation but sorting them out doesn’t have to be costly or time-consuming. Farmura Contracting can restore your turf efficiently, economically and with minimum disruption.

The Eurogreen Turf Renovation System for renovating sports turf to a high and guaranteed standard.

The Eurogreen System has been developed over 25 years and over 1,000 pitches a year are renovated with the system from local clubs through to Olympic and World Cup venues. In the UK several of our customers have won awards including Conference Pitch of the Year.

The system uses patented equipment for decompaction, seeding and sanding which is lightweight and designed for turf use. In other words - a one stop system from initial inspection and soil sampling through decompaction, sanding, seeding and fertilising. All we need from you is water!

VERTICUTTING

The Problem:
Thatch can reduce water and air circulation by creating a seal over the surface causing diseases to thrive and root growth to flatten.

The Solution:
This thatch is cut out and removed from the surface by close-set Verticutter-knives providing space for new grasses and increasing the circulation of water, air and nutrients to the roots.

AERIFICATION

The Problem:
During the course of the season the upper centimetres of the pitch can be compressed causing poor ventilation and drainage, damaging the plants and stripping the soil of useful organisms.

The Solution:
The Turf-Perforator will aerate the surface by vertically piercing the surface with hollow tines, reaching a depth of up to 6 cm in the top stratum. The cores are expelled and partially collected. The Turf-Perforator is extremely efficient as it can make approximately 400-500 holes / m² at high speed.

DRAINAGE

The Problem:
Ground and turf can become water-logged during wet periods in Spring and Autumn.

The Solution:
Farmura can assist by vertidraining your pitch and by working with you to ensure proper renovation of the pitch at the end of the season. If there is a genuine drainage problem we can assist with this as well.
